Destille in Heidelberg

Two words: warm drake. Not extraordinarily tasty, but special. That sums up this pub well.

Cool pub .. Should be visited .. Quaint .. Everything made of wood .. Colle rock music .. Smoking bar .. Toilets very clean .. Great service ..

The doorman is completely off the track. Unfriendly and corona rules are not adhered to. I wonder why the regulatory office doesn't look for it.

Rather boring standart studi pub, dice are rolled at tables, staff is not that attentive, various drinks from the menu are not available ... a shame

At first good .. but thrown out after a good turnover for flimsy reasons .... So pure rip-off .... and therefore a no go

Relaxed casual bar. Cheap alcohols and fast served. We enjoyed atmosphere even after Covid-19 crises

My last will - still 🤩 Here you can spend many hours around the tree (!) In the middle of the pub and admire the art on the walls. Try special drinks - e.g. B. enjoy the world-famous melon schnapps. Or warm drakes 😉 To be found in the pub street "Untere Straße". When visiting Heidelberg, take a look and try the specialties.

The owner of the bar is a great guy. A british friend of mine and myself had a great time there.

Great place for good beers/cocktails and conversation. Ordered couple of rounds of pilsner, other tables seemed to enjoy the nice looking cocktails they had ordered. There seemed to be quite a few specials on cocktails, beers weren't expensive either. The bartender was happy to speak in english.

Really liked the tree in the middle of the bar.

Smokey bar with good shots to drink. The air circulation is horrible, which leads every time you go there to have to wash your clothes afterwards. There is also a big drop on visitor quality in the last years. Everybody pushes each other inside, it is impossible not to spoil your clothes thanks to the "sausage festival" inside. Plus. if you are a women only group, be aware that many machos will circle around you like sharks.

Decent place for a one time visit. Smoking is allowed inside. The drinking shots are interesting but they use cheap corn alcohol for them so, not much quality. It can get quite crowded.

There are some very interesting shots there. If you do not smoke definitely avoid this place, as you are allowed to smoke inside. The air circulation is really bad, which leads every time I go there to have to wash my clothes afterwards.

Fantastic atmosphere. A real pub. We visited the place with my colleagues for a beer, so it is a great place for one drink only and for the whole evening too.

Great Beer, nice people, sometimes you might run into stuck up professors. Always a good time though.

Awesome bar, it was built around a tree. They have this very different shot very cheap.

You gotta try "Warmer Erpel", a rather peculiar shot that is notorious among Heidelberg's students.
